The country honored National Newspaper Day. "Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" is the theme for this year's National Press Day. Every year on November 16, National Press Day is commemorated to honor a free and responsible press. On this day, the Press Council of India began serving as an ethical watchdog to guarantee that the press upholds high standards and is not influenced or intimidated. Since 1997, the Council has marked the occasion with meaningful workshops on pertinent issues.
On National Media Day, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio praised media workers and media workers."We respect the pillar of democracy that informs us, holds the powerful accountable, and ensures that voices are heard," Rio went on to say. Rio believes that a free press is necessary for a healthy society and supports the Fourth Estate.
